Our client is a stable and reputable banking group specialising in corporate and investment banking. To strengthen its Risk Management Department in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Risk Officer.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify, follow up and analyse prudential regulatory changes (mainly CRR, CRD, BRRD,).
  • Perform impact analysis on regulatory changes and translate these changes into efficient business requirements.
  • Acting as Middle Officer to review the treasury transactions, monitor and manage all kinds of risk limits of treasury transactions, verify the evaluation of treasury transactions, as well as to prepare the related reports, etc.
  • Provide support to team members on risk identification (broad range of risks, especially credit risk), assessment, control, and reporting.
  • Support the Risk Management Department with the implementation of current regulation (ICAAP, CRR/CRD IV regulatory reporting, Recovery Plan, and Stress testing…).
  • Perform risk dashboard, including the monitoring of risks indicators and their trend.
  • Perform risk control, ensure compliance with existing risk policies, and provide support to the branches to ensure an adequate implementation.
  • Other related work assigned by the Management and the supervisor.

Your profile:

  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in risk management in a commercial bank or audit firm.
  • Sound knowledge on a broad range of risks related to the banking sector.
  • Strong command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office.
  • FRM or CFA would be considered as an asset.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex rules frameworks.
  • Highly initiative, good communication skills, team worker and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
